Different Games

FridaySaturday, April 11-12
2 Metrotech Center, 8th Floor

Different Games is a conference aimed at examining the intersections between gaming, diversity, and inclusion, and bridging gaps between designers, players, journalists, and researchers. Panels, discussions, and workshops will be held on a huge range in topics including ability in gaming, mental health and games, all the way to sex in games and punk games. There's something for everyone!

The incredible line-up of speakers includes NYU professors Clara Fernandez-Vara, Eric Zimmerman, Katherine Isbister, Kaho Abe, Robert Yang, and Naomi Clark, as well as Game Center students, Toni Pizza, Shoshanna Kessock, and Nina Freeman.

Different Games is an annual student and volunteer-lead conference on diversity and inclusivity in games presented by NYU School of Engineering's Integrated Digital Media Program in partnership with the NYU Game Center and the Georgia Institute of Technology's Digital Media Program.
